Hi! I'm Cindy Correa.

I have a deep passion for music, and I love sharing that passion with my students! My husband and I have three children, and we live in Colorado. I have always enjoyed teaching my children about music and watching their talents grow. As they got older, I decided to take up private teaching in my home. I LOVE it! I can’t imagine working in any other field.

About the Author

I started playing cello in middle school. I loved playing my instrument, but I wasn't very good. I didn't have the discipline to become a great cellist. I enjoyed playing with the orchestra, but I didn't practice enough. During my senior year, I quit. Thirteen years later, I had a friend that found out I used to play cello. She decided to rent a cello for me so that I could play in church for her. It was rough, but it sparked a fire in me to learn how to play the cello again. I purchased the ONLY cello for sale in my city and started to play.

Now many years later, I'm quite proud of my progress. I'm very dedicated to learning my instrument, even to this day. I've enjoyed playing with orchestras, quartets, and duets, as well as performing solo.

When I started teaching, I found a new outlet for my passion. I pour that passion into my students and hope they find as much joy in their journey as I do.
